Beblenheim Vineyards Pano

A lazy day today and have been playing with the X-T2 built in panorma feature. It sometimes takes really nice panos making them in camera and producing a 6400 x 1440 pixel jpg - saving a bit of post processing work. However I've found quite often some of the pano image can be not sharp or even actually blurry.  They suggest in the manual using focal lengths below 35mm but this does not always fix it. I found if you up the shutter speed to say 1000 you can almost always avoid the problem - this has the problem of taking the shutter speed up when you really want to stop down the aperture for maximum depth of field, so then you end up with a higher ISO than you want. Never mind. After a while I gave up experimenting and went for taking individual images and stitching them together in lightroom. Having recently had to upgrade Lightroom to cope with the Fuji RAF files I was pleased to find I can stitch in Lightroom and don't need to go to photoshop - which was always a bit of pain.  So for now I won't be using the in camera pano which is a shame - this kind of thing just works on an iPhone don' see why Fuji can't make it work.
