Fungi and Ground Ivy

We've had a rather pleasant Sunday. Claire and Tom came over for lunch and after we had another turn around the RSPB Reserve at Fowlmere.

It's a nice walk for a Sunday afternoon, nothing too strenuous and always a chance of seeing something interesting.  When we were there yesterday we saw this fungi growing on a rotten but still alive willow stump. Although I had a camera and tripod I had forgotten to replace the mounting plate having taken it off for some reason. So there was another good reason to go back today.
