A visit to the "dentist"
I know that many blippers don't like to visit the dentist, but I don't mind at all. The reason is that my dentist's office is halfway between my home and the Holden Arboretum, so when the dental routine is done with, I can climb in my car and in just a a few minutes pull into the parking lot at the Arboretum. That's what I did today, and I enjoyed a peaceful wander through the butterfly garden and around Lotus Pond. Unfortunately, the butterflies have flown, presumably to their winter home in warmer climates, so there were no butterfly blips today. Maybe I should make a trip to the Cleveland Botanical Garden where I can blip butterflies. I'm thinking I should plan a field trip soon.
However, there were plenty of flowers to blip. They will soon go the way of the butterflies...not actually to warmer climates, but you know what I mean. Winter is not a particularly colorful season in northeast Ohio, but there's still autumn. Hopefully there will be some vibrant fall colors soon. It's my favorite season (except that it is followed by winter).
I posted more Arboretum pictures here.
PS: I haven't the slightest idea what flower I blipped today, but I loved the color. It was on a vine and climbing on a trellis. Does anyone know what it is?
