DIGGING IN THE DIRT

For some years now the garden has been invaded by a wild plant whose roots take over every square inch.  If you pull it out and leave any piece of the root. it becomes a plant.
The long dry spell and the heat this year have killed off most every plant.  So I removed all of the plant material, spaded, rototilled, and am now sifting out all of those roots.  Well not all, I am sure.  I love digging in the dirt, getting all sweaty and hot, and being in good enough health to do it, but it only lasts in short spurts.
