A better day!

At least, no disasters or dropped kitchen gadget components ... (see yesterday's blip)

Gill was out in the garden planting the space she has cleared around the water feature we're put together where the overgrown mahonia was. The plants are all rescued or manager's discounted so not a major display at the moment.  Next year should see them more established.  Most of her effort is under the surface, as although the house is mid 90s, the previous owners and tenants have done little to the garden so she has had to dig in a lot of soil improver and remove some builders junk. 

I completed the photo editing for our artist friend's  web site and had a really nice note to say she is pleased with the results.  Examples in the extras.

I did also remove the rest of the old dire, mouldy, sealant from the shower, so next week I can complete cleaning it up and reseal it ... but that would not have been a pleasant blip!

Sausage & chips for dinner, and it is now wine o clock :-)
