A cold and grey day

Spent today at Westward Ho!  We'd organised a lunch out for other family members to come and see Simon and family today hoping that the weather would be fantastic and the little ones could play on the beach. Huh! That did not turn out as required weather wise but after lunch the three youngest stripped off and in spite of the rain went to play in the sea whilst we paddled! 
Back to mine for more birthday cake tea/coffee.... A really lovely day spent catching up with nieces, nephews and friends.
