Araneus quadratus

Another day, another heath land environment, another green spider... there seems to be a pattern developing here!
However this green spider is nowhere near as uncommon as the one I blipped yesterday.
This spider the four-spotted orb weaver is common on grassland and heath land and comes in a variety of colours from dull brown to red and in this case my favorite pale green.
Incidentally a spider exactly the same as this one scared poor Rosie yesterday by stealthily climbing up her jumper, I don't think I have ever heard Rosie (who holds the scariest insects ) squeal before, poor Rosie, I don't think it will go any way to curing her fear of spiders!
