More Festival Fun

Back at the Book Festival to hear Alexander McCall Smith, James Robertson, James Crawford and Alistair Moffat talk about their recently published book of essays on  the history of Scotland as told by the built environment - ranging from prehistoric settlements to the Sullom Voe Oil Terminal, the Bell Rock Lighthouse and pre-fabs. Very entertaining.

In the gardens, Prince Albert on his plinth was providing an excellent perch for the gulls, looking out for scraps from the food outlets below.  Their squawks could be heard in the tent.
