Defend Dunfermline!

Actually got to go and see what was going on in Dumfy today and very interesting too.
There was a wee show on the hour exploring some scenarios around what life was like in the town in 1940 when a German invasion was expected at any point. The photo shows some Polish folk dancers in 16th Century costume and some Polish folks dressed as soldiers who were stationed locally to train the Home Guard in what to expect, based on their experiences of the Nazi Blitzkrieg. Fascinating stuff.
