Bike Adventure

W, B and I went on a family bike ride today. We cycle just over 8 miles in all, the furthest Wee B' s legs have ever taken her on her own bike. We cycled to the very lovely Inveresk Lodge Garden, a NTS property in nearby Musselburgh. We had a picnic there, wandered around the landscaped gardens and down to the wilder pond area. Lots of pondlife spotted, including a heron.
Extras include the beautiful pond area and a white peony that looks like a fried egg.
