The Hive

We took one of our daughters back home to London after a period of recuperation with us following an operation. On the way back we decided to call in at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew for a spot of lunch and to visit The Hive - something we've talked about doing for ages. It is really spectacular and very moving - an enormous structure highlighting the importance of pollinators. Sounds and lights within the structure are triggered by activity within an actual bee hive nearby. Extra photos include one specially taken for Alan Woodley!
