Family and friends

Uncle Conal stayed the night as he was helping Max with a job last night. Gulliver, Conal and I went to the flying cloud cafe on the river at Teddington for cake, it's in an airstream and has colourful chairs and tables right by the river. Then we walked to Kingston along the river bank, stopped for ice creams and popped into HMV for a browse and got the bus home.
In the evening I took the boys out town to meet up with my brother Tom who is celebrating a big birthday next week, our old friend Clare was there with her niece Kajal and nephew Aaron and a friend of theirs as well, we met at the Two Brewers in Monmouth street where Tom's friend Nathan has an open mic night every Sunday, Tom performed a Beatles song that I haven't heard before, there were a few other guest musicians as well, it's a good atmosphere down there and very laid-back, I particularly enjoyed the Brazilian man singing in Portuguese playing guitar.
We gave Tom a ukelele for his birthday which she seemed pleased with.
We had fun travelling back with Clare and family.
