Eclipse Mania

Since various portions of the U.S., including us, will be experiencing an eclipse of the sun tomorrow, eclipse mania has fully set in.

Overhead highway signs such as this one, are warning travelers to be alert should it suddenly become dark and cold at two in the afternoon.

The news and weather are reporting this as if we are expecting a blizzard. 
People have been stocking up on food, water, and other various supplies (beer and whiskey are high on the list here at the beach)

We also wonder if the goats on Goat Island will go into full panic mode or even worse, the alligators!

The Marshwalk is of course hosting an eclipse party but I suspect we will be viewing the event from the relative safety of our backyard.

The cats will no doubt respond to these unusual conditions with a nap.

Hopefully we will survive Epocylipse and live to tell the tale.
