It seems that “stressed out” is now so hard-wired into neighbour B that it is his default position. Even though he has a live-in full-time carer for A who also shops, cooks and runs errands; a woman who comes in to do the cleaning, laundry and ironing; a lad who comes round to maintain the house and land around it; a mechanic for the car; us as neighbours, who know which local specialist to call upon for any eventuality, as well as having internet access for the not-so-local stuff, he can still get himself worked up.

The other day he tested his blood pressure and it was shockingly high “even for him” so he called the doctor out, though not without calling us first of course. The doctor arrived without his blood pressure testing kit and B got stressed because there were so many people in the house.

Oh please!
