Barb's Banksia

We're now in Townsville - another big day of travel.
We left Wombat Hollow at 8.30am, to catch the train from Katoomba to Sydney.  But before there was time for me to do a quick circuit around natures garden to get a blip, love the Banksias.  Blip in the bag, inside to be treated to delicious "Grandad's Scrambled Eggs", scrumptious & yummo!!  
Then on the road, not far from Wombat Hollow would you believe it, we spotted the resident baby (well a year old now) wallaby Blippy - now that was a moment of excitement. Farewells to Barb at the station then on the train for the two an half hour journey to Sydney.

Flight from Sydney to Brissie, then Brissie to Townsville arriving here at 7.30 pm.  And the biggest thrill of all was the little Miss Lexi was still up and she gave Nana some wonderful cuddles, heaven.

Its off to bed time, travelling can be very wearying.
