Penguin Bashing

A day of mixed feelings.  My first ice hockey game of the new season, the only downside to this is that it now means Autumn and Winter are rapidly approaching.  Eeeekkkkkk!

We were playing the German side Krefeld Penguins, and with the Champions League due to start next week I was eager to see how we’d go against foreign opposition.  I needn’t have worried, we thrashed them 6-2 and it proved to be quite easy in the end.  Some nice moves by our new signings, so hopefully fingers crossed it bodes well for our Champions League campaign which begins on Thursday.
