Green-veined White

After popping in to see Mum we went to Fiskerton Fen this afternoon ...... not been before ..... it's okay .... but we found that we could only walk straight through & not ramble around like we usually do ...... so we probably won't bother again. The end of the path through then goes along the river bank.

On the plus side we did see this Green-veined White butterfly ...... this photo shows just how light & delicate they are as it perched on this blade of grass! :-)
