Naveta des Tudons
First proper road trip today and we took the van to the other side of the island for a bit of culture. This is a funery monument where members of the same family or clan would be buried, along with their personal effects. This one was used between 1,400 and 900 BC and the remains of more than 100 bodies have been found here by archaeologists - all completely mixed up. It seems the bones were just shunted to the back to make way for new ones. This kind of construction is unique to Menorca.
