The day's eye

Bit of an emergency Blip today. Among the many potted plants I brought with me when I retired were several of Erigeron karvinskianus. Mexican Fleabane is a lovely, low growing perennial, good for sinks and crevices in walls - it's amazing at Hestercombe in Somerset. Considering its range is from Mexico to Panama, it's surprisingly hardy.

The small flowers open pink and fade to white and it will seed around prolifically, though never becoming a nuisance - but then how could it!
