In coming

A lovely, warm sunny morning which brought out a few butterflies, bees and flies. Lots of sleepy wasps too, so trying to void them as much as possible.
I sat and enjoyed the sun while the washing was on.Mike cut the grass. David went to work and Richard started his journey back from Wales. Think he got soaked yesterday so  he'll be glad to get back home. They were able to burn the Wicker Dragon though which must have been an amazing sight.
We took the car for a run to Cromarty to make sure the new battery was ok, no problems so far. When we got back I sorted out the books in the bookcases, Mike's fixed them to the wall. Did nt realise that I had a book written by Iain Thomson who we saw on Saturday night, all about his life as a shepherd.
We had some runner beans that we bought from an Honesty Stall in Ullapool and had the Redcastle Rhubarb with custard for pud.
Richard's flight is delayed by half an hour so the plane is nt landing until 10.30. Mike's going to pick him up :)
