Mom & Son

I don't post very many portraits as others on blip are much better with this genre. Every once in a while, however, all the elements come together to create something worthwhile as was the case this morning at the market. The light was perfect, nice and soft while maintaining some direction. It was easy to tell the pair were mother and son by their similar expression and stance. The background was just enough out of focus so a viewer's eye is concentrated on the two main subjects and they were wearing bright colors to further stand out from the darker surroundings. All in all, I had to choose this as today's entry.
