Firewheel

After a late night and then the normal early rise for the day there wasn't much energy left for photos.  Teach had a bored board meeting which went till 11.30 and needed some unwinding when he got home.  Hence the wine in yesterdays blip.(I did have to have a glass or two before he got home.)  
Walking around the property I noticed that the magnolia has 4 buds about to burst, blossoms about to open on the nectarine tree, daffodils bursting, camellias flowering I settled on this photo of the Australian Firewheel tree which is growing beside our garage.  the flowers look like wagon wheels and are a fiery red colour.  The leaves are a bright shiny green.  It is quite stunnnig when in full flower.
