Funeral day. It was obviously sad but also actually a pretty nice day. It went as well as a funeral can go, and I think he would have approved. The service was lovely, my eulogy went ok and Laura's reading was really nice too. So many people came, including some postmen just off their rounds.

The weather was glorious, so we managed tea and cake in the garden as planned. The whole place was packed with people. As people gradually left we had to make them take extra cake home with them, between us we'd made so many!

Graham and I headed back to Bristol in the evening.
