Yelkouan or Balearic shearwater?

Dawn fishing trip resulted in no fish, but we did spot these incredible birds, with their perfect aerodynamic aerofoils just dipping into the water on a turn like an arrogant skateboarder. 

Ben flew over to join us too, from Bordeaux via Barcelona and rather delayed. We were just all so pleased to have him with us, particularly after the awful recent events there. He took it all in his very long stride.
