Wells Gutter

There is a stream running down both sides of the high street in Wells, one of which I believe springs from a well that gives Wells it's name, but the other comes from the Bishop's Palace moat, and was used in days of yore to clean the streets. I love the collection of debris that has gathered in this eddy at the bottom of the high street.
