Waiting

Our lambs waiting to be sold. They didn't have to wait long as unfortunately we were the first pen in the ring. It's not a good place to be starting the sale as the bidders haven't warmed up yet so often you get a bit less for your lambs. Thankfully they didn't do too bad. We also had the last sheep to go through with our cast ewes but decided waiting for 5000 lambs to be sold before that point would be a waste of a day so left the mart to put them through and headed into town to do a bit of shopping and then home. Some very happy dogs to see us when we got back and it was nice to unwind with a walk on the hill with them. It was good blethering to folk at the sale but nice to be home now with a cup of tea and our feet up! A bit of a photo repeat but it's the only one I took all day!
