Mum & Dad had brought us home yesterday so this morning I offered to take them somewhere for some photographs.  Mum wanted to go to Duddingston Loch, when we got there it was frozen over.  A few birds obligingly stayed near the shore for us to photograph.

Afterwards we popped in to the Sheep's Heid to warm up.  I'm fairly certain this is when the promise that we could go there for dinner if mum made it to the top of Arthur's Seat one day came about.
