Leafy bower
Bower is a word we do not use frequently enough in my view. I seem to remember a run-down pub in a run-down backstreet in Manchester. Either the environs had changed greatly since the pub was built or the name was deeply ironic.
Busy day which included a number of calls to and from Bavaria, including some from George. He has also introduced me to an app which looks like a stalkers dream - I don't imagine I'll be sharing a url which opens a map showing where my mobile phone is in real-time. Sometimes, as children, we'd have to hide when the rent man came round and some habits are ingrained; I'll share a location on Whatsapp but not my every move
