Beach art

A breezy sunny day, perfect for a walk on the beautiful beaches. Yesterday we spotted the fins of basking sharks near Hynish and the Alan Stevenson exhibition. We decided to go that way again this time visiting the exhibition which explains the building of Skerryvore Lighthouse. At Hynish the Hebridean Trust has renovated the harbour barracks and workshops used when building the lighthouse and gave us an idea about the life of the light house keepers - extremely tough - with 3 on duty at any one time for weeks on end.

No basking shark fins though, we sat at the pier end for some time waiting....

The weather has changed and now it's pouring down, in fact it sounds quite wild out there.
