Parking Field

The orienteering was on Birsemore Hill today, but the parking was on the same field as the previous day. This is the empty field as we were leaving in the evening. Birsemore Hill is a great area for orienteering, but the planners did a poor job on my course. We had a long walk to the start with a lot of uphill to get us into the area. However the first thing I did was go steeply downhill into grot with a couple of bingo controls. I didn’t enjoy it and was not alone; the local club never uses that part of the area because it is ‘sh**e’.
