On the road again

Half of the Board at CHS is new to the organisation this year. So today we had a training session for all Board members on what they should be considering on financial planning, audit and risk management. Some of the senior team including myself also took part..

It was a very full day but helpful and informative and I suspect will lead to even closer scrutiny of our papers and policies! And rightly so.

Heading home for a meeting at church about Sunday school I passed through the Meadows. The mists were slowly lifting from around Arthur's Seat. And the lighter patches of grass showed where the fun fair and other entertainments during the festivals had moved on. The big tent was still there as we are into the final week of the culture fest.
