Swaledale on Low Fell

Although the Swaledale sheep is the official symbol of the Yorkshire Dales, it is one of the few breeds of sheep which can survive on the Lake District Fells and is often seen among flocks of Herdwick. In fact, I have often observed a Herdwick and a Swaledale wandering around together. They seem to make good friendships.

Do they have different dialects? I wouldn't be surprised. Maybe they have to get used to each others ways of saying things, much like I had to do when I moved up north from the south!
