A Trek To Discovery.

Despite inclement weather, Dad and I voyaged to Dundee to visit Discovery Point Museum, home of the RRS Discovery.

The Discovery had a long and illustrious career, famously built in Dundee for Captain Scott's first Antarctic Expedition launched in 1901.

To stand on the deck of a ship whose name has sailed amongst the stars; a ship so well-travelled and so steeped in adventure it was thrilling for the both of us to stand in the footsteps of Scott and Shackleton - even in the rain.
