Looking To The Future

To do such one must address the here and now .There are those who have no wish to travel by air and those who do. The latter is my choice. The last few years have been tricky  due to accidents and a progressive issue. People such as above have made airports easier and got me from A to B.  They deal with so many and are the unsung heroes and heroines of travel .Yesterday their skills orchestrated my journey.The photo has been retaken today .Their day is a 12 hour shift and  though pay is not superb they are . Have found out they are to get a pay rise at Christmas .Wait for it --3p an hour !  Shocking considering all they do . Their self respect , desire to work and go places is a driving force. Greeted in Germany by two such people who are employed by airports here  I wanted to write and draw attention to these people who make the lives of so many as it was prior to fate dealing a few duff cards... I keep on & work towards the day I need no assistance. Until such time travel remains an option .Last night the men and I sang songs together as we got to the baggage hall .Ich Hab Noch Einen Koffer In Berlin and Das ist Berlin , Berlin die ewig junge Stadt .Great fun .
