Convolvulus hawkmoth
Having a short break on the Suffolk coast. On arrival, had a lovely refreshing walk along the shingle beach at Aldeburgh. I wanted to photograph the rare sea pea, yellow-horned poppy and other shingle specialities...but Lydia spotted something far more special - a convolvulus hawkmoth, a scarce migrant and the largest moth we see in the UK.
