Oban!

For tomorrow is the Great Gathering. Thousands expected, the wee town is fit to burst. I left booking accommodation to the last minute (big mistake). As a result I am in an attic garret in a dilapidated Victorian pile. The blurb in the room says they have done as little as possible to maintain the character. That obviously includes cleaning. Still, I have a sea view.

Right, enough, the bars are open and the seafood here is tremendous.
