Peacock Butterfly

A very warm day with the promise of sunshine. Plenty of folk walking in Rouken Glen Park this morning.

Very damp conditions underfoot ..... someone said it had been very wet during the night with thunder and lightning in some areas .... I heard nothing!

L and I enjoyed a coffee in the Boathouse Cafe and then set off on our walk.  The buddleia bushes in the walled garden were a magnet for butterflies this morning. We spotted Red Admirals on the purple flowers but this Peacock on the white was a much better subject for a blip.
