The photo doesn't do justice to the day
This was the best I could do today, which is pretty bad as it’s been a busy day which warrents a far better picture.
This morning I tried out Melton market, turns out it’s pretty darn good. You can buy pretty much everything you never, ever knew you wouldn’t need at the flee market, which will probably come up trumps for all kinds of weird and wonderful things. Then there is a farmers market, which is a proper farmers market, not designer quiches and unknown types of cheese. It’s a cheap as chips (hopefully) decent food market from the farmer, probably off-loading excess food.
On from that, it was off to the nurse for the youngest to have his 12-month injections, I was fine until I went into the nurses room and promptly felt like curling up in the corner and bursting into tears about the whole thing. I think there were a few tears from me, and full-on proper sobbing from the youngest, I just hate having them done.
Home for a sleep (if you’re one), TV (if you’re two) and flying around getting ready for the next part of the day if you a little older. We were meeting our village friend at Woolsthorpe and straight from there I was off to London to give a talk. The boys had a brilliant time gadding about at the home of science and gravity that is Woolsthorpe (plenty more visits there in our future). Quick change in the (empty) car park, drive to the station, swap cars with the husband and off to London to be an adult for the evening.
Phew, I’m exhausted, and really, the day deserved a far better picture than a snap of Grantham station!
