Wild Wednesday: A very English tea room
Had a meeting at 9am this morning with the broadband specialist for the park. I'm not sure how useful it was as the bandwidth is only 4MBps and as the TV can't connect to it, I might still have to pay for data rather than use the free wifi given to owners.
We headed over to Guildford today; G wanted to do some browsing and get a couple of things. I enjoyed getting shots of the High Street and some of the old buildings. Just before we got back to the car, we called in to the House of Fraser and made a bee-line to their Tea Room. Wow. It has had a re-vamp and these chairs just really tickled me, so I said we had to have a coffee! So we did. The staff were very good as they would normally show you to a table, but they let us choose ours which were similar to these, but in blue.
Back home to the Lodge and yesterday's wash is taking ages to dry. G got on with preparing her "sermon" for Sunday, and I hoovered. Our last week, and some tidying up is being done in preparation to leave.
And in the evening, we joined the Wonersh URC movie club to watch The Monuments Men, a thought provoking film.
