Tiddles returns to London
Anne called for me at 8am and we went for a run. I’d woken up quite early and had thought of texting Anne to cancel but decided against it. Anne said that she had thought the same so we agreed that tomorrow we will have a day off. I had a few things to do before taking Penny to Bangor. She was not herself at all and seemed quite anxious about going back to London. She is nervous for her GCSE results and still unsure as to which A levels she wants to take. We talked about it on the way to Bangor. She is also going to Reading festival at the weekend and I’m not sure that she really wants to go.
Her train left for London was at 1:20pm and we got to the station quite early, so we ate our sandwiches on the platform. She was back home by 5:30pm and Ben went to meet her at the station.
Bibi and I had to kill two hours at Bangor to wait for Ed’s train which was due in at 3:30pm. We went to a soft furnishing’s store and bought new bedding for their bedroom which is being decorated.
Ed arrived on time and Bibi drove most of the way back to Pwllheli. I was really tired and tried to have a snooze before taking Jack to work.
Anne called for me just before 7pm and we went to Karen’s house. She’d made us a mountain of sandwiches as well as a quiche, cakes and scones. When I got home, I couldn’t move.
