Between the lines

Update:  Hawaiian Airlines has reached an agreement with the (original) artist Wyland to paint and restore the massive murals on their newly purchased building near the airport.    He's expected to start painting either Sunday or Monday and complete the restoration in less than one week's time (to accommodate his tight schedule).

After a service call for our leaking washing machine, a repair was scratched when the drum could not be removed to replace the gasket.  We've got our fingers crossed that it continues working as it has for the last 40+ years.  Fingers crossed for a little while longer; those new fangled units are way too complicated for such a simple task.
