More flowers...

Dear Diary,

My hydrangea bushes are blooming and they attract all sorts of insects.  This wasp was having a grand old time going from flower to flower collecting nectar.  I don't usually think of wasps as pollinators but these paper wasps do a fine job of it.

Speaking of a fine job, Matt made a big dent in the garden work yesterday.  While he was trying to cut back the rubekia in the meditation garden he knocked over St Francis and the birds broke off.  He was distraught but I wasn't.  Accidents happen and it will be easily glued back together.  I will work on it and when he comes back next week St Francis will return to his place in the garden.

Another resting day for me.  I really have to watch myself since I tend to "jump the gun".  This will take time and I have to practice my word for the year, Patience, with this.  I will get there.  The meds are tough to take so I don't think I will feel really well until I am done with them, in about 9 days.
