Rowans and Apples

Life's normality is resumed - lovely to have Jan home again!
It is definitely late summer, and one sign of this is the wonderful crop of rowan berries we can now see at the end of the garden!  Unfortunately they are in contrast to the apple harvest. The apples on the apple tree are few and shrunken. I guess the cold and dry summer just didn't suit apples!
