Daffodil Day 2017

Well, look who I found sitting on a cushion under the miniature daffodils blipmate gave me last year. It is none other than Cancer Bear 2017 himself.
He also belongs to blipmate as she couldn't get one where she is on holiday. So I unwrapped him and decided he needed some time outside until she gets home. Just a little fresh air, not overnight.

A lovely day for Daffodil Day. I hope seeing the daffodils, yellow balloons and bears up and down the street brought hope to those suffering at the moment, joy to those in remission and quiet reflection to all of us who have lost someone to cancer. There can't be too many that haven't. The money raised is put to such good use.
