Hill farm near Ballater

We knocked off fishing early and called in Ballater, passing this small hill farm on the way back to Dinnet. It was hard going today in torrential rain and high winds. The river came up five feet. If the rain holds off now and the river comes down a bit we might be in with a chance over the next couple of days. If you saw the the news item about a Golden Eagle found dead just outside Aboyne, it was discovered on the estate where we're fishing. Apparently it had been caught in some kind of a trap and dumped, probably out of a car. What a shame.
