Croquet on the lawn
Continuing to wade through all the things that need to be done both for and before we leave on 10th September. Applied for the ESTA for the USA, Susan was successful, mine was "pending" for some reason. It may be because my passport expires at the end of March next year. I'm hoping it won't mean an emergency trip up to London to get a passport.
Finished the brickwork for the step up to the studio, that was quite a challenging task as there were all different levels to accommodate as well as an armoured cable. "All" that remains is to fill in the space and concrete it over.
Picked a load of beetroot which we roasted in foil then pickled. Only made two jars but we've plenty of beetroot left so I guess I'll be doing some more. Our walk today linked up places we needed to go; the supermarket, to pay the window cleaner, drop off Susan's notes at the Doctors and visit the allotment. This is the third consecutive shot from Mote Park, of people who live in the retirement complex built around Mote House enjoying a gentle game of croquet on the lawn.
Played around with the new camera too, although I didn't take it out today so hopefully tomorrow's blip will be a tremendous shot from the new camera!
