Every Picture

A beach holiday
with all those little ones.
The Mum in her hat.
Something could be made of that.

Maybe her hat is green?
Her jacket is blue.
Though she tries not to show it
perhaps Mum is blue too?

But why is she sad? No Dad.
He‘s missing. And she’s missing him.
Their first holiday without him
since…

But no! Let’s not
go there. Let’s just say
he’s out of shot.
This is a happy day.

A seaside holiday with a handful
of little ones. The Mum in her blue jacket,
not quite white shorts, and (green?) hat,
overseeing it all. Let’s stick with that.
