Cygnet

Up early(ish) today for a couple of reasons. I wanted to see Jae off to Beermageddon heavy metal festival at Stoke. He and a friend went last year, and had a great time! 

And also an engineer was due before lunchtime to fix our landline. He duly arrived and did the work, and within minutes I received a telesales call! How I've missed them while the phoneline was out of action...not! 


After he left I got ready and went out to run a few errands and clock up a few Fitbit steps. I decided to walk back via the river for a change, and took some photos of the swans, including this cygnet. 

I have also included a shot of the cable chaos behind the TV, which the engineer had to move. I've no idea what half of these are for!
