Canal Day 7

Finally a sunny day and as a fresult, lots of photo options.  I went for this one as it's something I've never seen on a canal before.  There was so much water "up stream" of this lock that as the boat entered the compound it started to flood over the top of the lock gates.  Not surprising given how wet it has been but it made for an interesting shot.

I also liked the shot of a heron flying and a swan washing itself (see extras)
