Sensory overload
Right as I was taking my mom's photo in front of a tall tree at Cornwall Park LS ran up to us and brought an incredible stench with him. He'd rolled in something and was covered in it from head to tail. I should probably spare you the details, but . . . whatever he'd rolled in left him coated in a white, gooey, chunky (!) mess. He looked so pleased. Even my mother, whose sense of smell is mostly gone, kept commenting on it.
Back at Silverado I got advise from a kind caregiver to use baking soda on him first, then soap. That seemed to cut through the smell pretty well.
